Overview

Production and supply of more than 80 complex wardrobe units for an Irish contractor company which got a part at multi million £ renovation of a legendary 5* hotel in London. Completely diversified units with a few same parts. Hi-end details and finishings with custom made fittings. General Wardrobes were consisting of multiple units, housing minibar, safe with pull out shelf, integrated writing desk with drawers and mirrors, hanging space, integrated luggage compartment, storage shelves and drawers. On the inside of wardrobe doors were full sized mirrors, all internal units illuminated trigerred with door switches. All wardrobes with decoration top profiled crown and pedestal, curved end pillars, chrome elements and hi-end custom made fittings.

All hinges non adjustable and required precise preparation, tracking and labeling of assembly elements in production and at installation, precise fabrication with practically no tolerance. Hinges and small gaps at doors conditioned that all assembly parts had to be fabricated and assembled precisely to ensure a perfect fit and uniform gaps.

Materials

Materials used for inside units were veneered chipboard in quarter cut oak veneer, solid oak lippings and thick oak veneer all lacquered in natural semi matt PU finish. Outside visible parts all in painted MDF semi matt cream white finish. Doors made as a frame - filler construction where outside visible fillers were wrapped in fabric behind tempered glass, inside non visibe fillers in white painted finish. Desk made with polished chrome front profiled rail and frames on top and drawer fronts. All desk visible surfaces covered in art. leather behind tempered glass. Inside drawer fronts made from solid oak wood with tempered glass inserts with rounded top edge.
