Apart Hotel Helgoland

Renovation was performed with uninterrupted hotel operation. Supplied was furniture for 22 rooms in natural and stained combination of beech veneer and solid wood to give a fresh but still cosy feel in the rooms. Logistics challenge was total restriction of traffic at the Helgoland island. Furniture was delivered in two phases with local installation.

Overview

Generally staright forward design of furniture in natural and stained beech veneer and solid wood design. TV panels with front fold-out writing desk on piano hinges and gas dampers. Produced were wardrobes, TV wall boards with fold-out desks, free standing and cantilevered desks with rounded corners, kitchen cabinets with minibar space, nightstands with solid wood legs and headboards with upholstered planks. Organised was also transportation in two stages. Installation was done with local team on site as per client's request.

Materials

Materials used were chipboard veneered in quarter cut beech veneer, edges closed in thick beech veneer, solid beech wood all lacquered in natural semi matt PU finish and some stained to darker brown colour. Hanging on the walls is usually done with use of raw MDF interlocking hanging rails or as per special request.
